First Friday Adoration and Novena Mass & Prayers to St. Anthony of Padua: Day 4 at 5:30 pm
DAY 4
Patron saint is a saint to whose protection and intercession a person, a society, a church, or a place is dedicated. So our church is dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua who is Patron saint of our parish. The Feast of St. Anthony of Padua is observed every year on June 13 to honor the life and work of St. Anthony of Padua, who accomplished many things during his short time in this world as a priest. So to honor our church/parish patron saint, we celebrate 9 days Novena masses and prayers to St. Anthony from June 4th – June 12th. And then We celebrate our Church patron saint Feast day Mass on June 13 at 6:00 pm and followed by light meals. All are welcome!
Prayer to St. Anthony of Padua
O wonderful St. Anthony, glorious on account of the fame of your miracles, and through the condescension of Jesus in coming in the form of a little child to rest in your arms, obtain for me of His bounty the grace which I ardently desire from the depths of my heart . (State your intention)
You who were so compassionate toward miserable sinners, regard not the unworthiness of those who pray to you, but the glory of God that it may once again be magnified by the granting of the particular request (State your intention) which I now ask for with persevering earnestness. Amen.
Pray one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and Glory Be to the Father, in honor of Saint Anthony.
Saint Anthony, pray for us!
